The aim of this project is to create second, more advanced version of interface for lighting control in commercial spaces. First version of the interface was based on a calendar where user programs lighting for the commercial space for each day of the year. This approach showed to be inefficient, time consuming and difficult for users, that’s why new version was trying to involve user-centered design approach to create a different and user friendly version by the means of usability testing. New version is build on preprogrammed lighting scenes or sequences that are turned on by one click as classical light switches on the wall or by sensor of movement. This interface will be used for office spaces to control cold/warm white dimmable lighting that imitates day light, which creates lighting for efficient working spaces or it will be used in cafés and restaurants for RGB lighting.
